Capistrano Beach is a nice area in the Dana Point area that is located on the San Clemente & Dana Point border line.  Homes and condos in this area can be very expensive do to their close proximity to the beach and quiet and private location.  For those looking for properties under $500,000 the selection can be very low with currently only 7 properties for sale under this price point.  Several of the condos listed in this price range are condos located in the Mill Pond area.  Mill Pond is a private gated community that is home to a small select number of town homes.  The community enjoys a neighborhood park and pond area with association amenities with condo prices in the mid $450,000 range.

The Monarch Beach area of Dana Point is home to many luxury communities but there is no better place to find a beach close home than the Ritz Cove community.  The Ritz Cove is an oceanfront guard gated community that sits adjacent to the Ritz Carlton Hotel.  If you look at the picture below you will see a large hotel that sits on the ocean front.  This is the luxury 5 Star Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dana Point.  Directly below the hotel is a community filled with large Mediterranean and Spanish style homes that sit next to the Monarch Beach golf links and the Pacific Ocean.  The community has it's own beach access and the security of a guard gated entrance.

Dana Point condos for sale under $200,000 are best found in the Harbor Walk community in Dana Point, California.  Harbor Walk is a small and quiet condo community located in the Capsitrano Beach area.  The condos are typically one to two bedroom units and offered for sale for under $200,000.  When looking at the location of the complex it's rather surprising that you can find a condo in this price range located so close to the beach.  The units tend to be very light and bright with lots of natural light with upstair units offering vaulted ceilings and large patios. 

The only down side is the actual square footage of the units as they tend to be less than 1,000 square feet of living space.  Currently there is one condo for sale in the Harbor Walk
