The Capistrano Heights community is located in the upper section of the Capistrano Beach area just above the 5 freeway.  The main section of the Capistrano Beach area is located just west of the 5 freeway and offers beach close custom homes.  Capistrano Heights is a small area that occupies four streets and often has peek views of the ocean.  This area is often confused as part of the city of San Clemente since streets located above these 4 streets fall into the boarders of San Clemente and often referred to as the "Harbor Estates" area of San Clemente.  The Heights offer a nice mixture of one and two story single family homes that are often located on one way streets.  They offer easy access to the 5 freeway and the Ralphs shopping center located next to

Some of the first homes in the new South Strand development has just finished construction and are currently being offered for sale.  The Strand at Headlands is one of the newest developments in the Monarch Beach area of Dana Point with two separate sections known as the "North Strand" and the "South Strand."  The North Strand is the ocean front section of the community with many homes in existence for several years.  The community offers a combination of ocean view and ocean front homes in a community where all homes are within a 2 to 3 block radius.

The Cape Cove community homes offer a world of charm and character in this Cape Cod style neighborhood.  The community was first built in the 1979 and the concept was simple, to build a gated community with two story homes that are all built in the Cape Cod style architecture filled with coastal blue colors and white trim.  This by far is one of the cutest neighborhoods you will find in Dana Point and the location is really ideal.  From this location it's a simple walk across Pacific Coast Highway and then steps down to the beach through the Strand community.  All in all it takes an easy 10 minute walk to the sandy beach.

The Lantern Village area of Dana Point offers many ocean view properties for sale.  The Village area itself covers many different neighborhoods from luxury communities like Lantern Bay Estates which offers a guard gated entrance that is within walking distance to the Dana Point Marina and the beach.  There are also several condo buildings in this area like Lantern Bay Villas and Las Mariansas that offer great ocean views.  All the communities in the Lantern Village offer a downtown Dana Point location that is close to the many shops that line Pacific Coast Highway.
