4th of July in Dana Point

The 4th of July is a great time to relax with friends and family and some of the best fireworks can be seen from the Dana Point area.  One of the great parts about watching the celebrations is you get to see multiple celebrations from neighboring cities of San Clemente and Laguna Beach who also celebrate with fireworks.  Dana Point is ideally situated in the middle of these two towns so it's not uncommon to watch three celebrations at one time!

Some of the best locations to watch the celebrations in Dana Point is around the Doheny Beach area and the Dana Point Harbor.  Parking is always a premium so you may want to consider parking just south of Doheny near the parking area surrounding Beach Road in Dana Point.  Another great lookout spot is the streets that look down into the Dana Point Harbor like Green Lantern and the park that sits next to the Marriott Hotel.  These locations will have spectacular views and shuttle service is provided to the parking lots in these locations.

As always we recommend being safe during the holiday season and remember the freedom and independence that we often take for granted.  Enjoy your 4th of July!
