Dana Point Community Located Across From The Waldorf Astoria

One of the best locations that is across the street from the Waldorf Astoria resort hotel is the Tennis Villas gated community. This is one of my favorite communities as it offers beautiful Mediterranean style townhouses that typically have nice open floor plans and nice finishes to them. One of the biggest trends in this community is to buy homes in this community and then do short term rentals since the rental industry has boomed recently. That's why when you look at what is available in the Tennis Villas you will see a lot of rental properties that are offering these short term rental opportunities. The best time to rent out these homes is during the high season summer months which consists of June, July and August. During these months a lot of owners are able to command a premium in price due to the higher demand of those looking to rent for these 3 months with July being the most requested month.
Buying a home in the Tennis Villas is a great investment no matter if you plan to live in the community or rent it out as explained before. I remember when could buy pretty much anything in this community for under $1 million but times have changed! Now the starting price for a two bedrooms condo is currently at $1,285,000 which gets you an approximate 1,018 square feet of living space with nice golf course views. The only other property currently on the market is a two bedroom condo that is currently asking $1,575,000 with an approximate 1,357 square feet of living space and comes with nice ocean views. Inventory has been very limited in this community so there have not been a lot of choices to choose from.
