Dana Point Harbor View Condos

The Dana Point harbor is a beautiful area in the Lantern Village area of Dana Point. There are several communities that overlook the harbor and offer amazing views. These condos are typically some of the most expensive units on the market as they offer both ocean, harbor and sunset views. For those who are new to Dana Point it's worth driving around and seeing the different vantage points and the views that they offer.

We first recommend going to the Green Lantern street in Dana Point. This is by far the best view of the harbor and that is where you will find the Dana Point chart house restaurant. Along this street are residential homes and condos located on only one side of the street. On the other side of the street is a steep cliff that literally overlooks the Dana Point harbor. Since the street itself is very small condos rarely come on the market here but are typically priced in the mid $1 to $2 million dollar range. If you continue down this street you will notice residential homes that are soon to be built by the Strand development. This is definelty an up and coming area that offers forever views.

Another great spot to find harbor view condos is on the street of Santa Clara. There are several condo buildings located on this bluff front street and include the Las Marianas and Admiralty communities. Las Marianas is a very small community that only has a small handful of direct ocean view units. It has a nice central pool area that overlooks the harbor but most of the condos here will have little to no views. The Admiralty is the premier complex that has a huge demand with rarely units come up for sale here. They main reason for the demand for these condos is the amazing harbor and ocean views. This is probably the most upscale condo complex on the bluff front in Dana Point and units are often priced in the high $1 million dollar range.

For those looking for a walk to the harbor location then it's worth mentioning the Lantern Bay Villas community. These condos also have views of the Harbor but is less dramatic than the cliff view units described above. That being said, the Villas is still a very nice complex with a central community pool and tennis court area. It's very easy to walk to the harbor shopping and restaurants as well as local grocery stores in the downtown Dana Point area.
