Dana Point Homes With A Wine Cellar

Having a home with a dedicated wine cellar is truly a luxury item that is often reserve for very large homes that have the extra space to dedicate to the proper climate control storage of wine. This is not always the case with smaller homes as their are some wine enthusiasts who have dedicated enough space for a wine cellar. Here is our guide on where to find these homes.
The large majority of these can be found in the new community of "The Strand at Headlands." These are grand newer construction homes that often feature 7,000 to 10,000 square foot homes that are steps away from the sandy beach and Pacific Ocean. One of the most common features in the Strand homes is having a dedicated wine cellar room. The below photo was taken from a home in the Strand that was properly climate controlled and large enough to store nearly 1,000 bottles of wine. Real Estate prices for this community don't come cheap and typically run between $9 to $16 million dollars for those homes that have a wine cellar.
Another luxury community to consider wold be the Monarch Bay community as some of the newer homes have incorporated a room just for wine but this is not the case for all of the homes located here. Monarch Bay is an older community that is considered ocean front with many homes being located within walking distance to the beach. Since many of the homes were built many years ago it's not common to find wine cellars. Updated homes with coastline views can be priced north of $10 million dollars.
The most affordable homes with a wine cellar can be found in the Capistrano Beach area of Dana Point. Look for homes on the bluff front or on the sand in the Beach Road community that overlook the ocean as many of these homes have been remolded and average around 4,000 square feet of living space. There are also many gated communities throughout the Monarch Beach area like Ritz Cove that often have wine cellars as well.
