Dana Point Homes with Mountain Views

Dana Point is a beach town that has a wide range of views and most well known for it's ocean views that sometimes can over look the Dana Point Harbor. One of the other surprisingly nice views are those mountain views that can be seen from a few select neighborhoods and locations. The highest concentration of these homes can be found in the central part of Dana Point and typically found in homes that are located on a high point that offers them a variety of views. One of the neighborhoods I really love for Mountain views is the Dana Knolls neighborhood which is a great community for a variety of reasons. For starters, It's an area that is predominantly filled with single family homes that are often cute bungalow style one story homes. The community isn't well known for having ocean view but the Mountain views can be incredible which we have pictured below. This is also a great area to find some of the more affordable real estate prices for single family homes in Dana Point. Real Estate prices currently start at $985,000 for a 4 bedroom single family home.
Another great neighborhood to consider is the Thunderbird neighborhood which is located near the Dana Knolls neighborhood. I've sold homes in this area and homes always tend to sell quickly here since it's considered a very desirable neighborhood of one and two story homes that were often built in the 1960's and 1970's. Real Estate prices currently start at $850,000 for a 3 bedroom home with over 1,900 square feet of living space. There are also some nice Mountain View homes located in the Monarch Beach area as well. The best views tend to be homes located above Stonehill Drive street.
