Dana Point Ocean View Homes

The Labor Day weekend is soon approaching in the next couple of days which often times results in many visitors coming to the Dana Point area.  Local real estate agents understand the opportunity to hold open their listings so if you are thinking about buying a home or just curious on what is going on with the market this is a great opportunity to look at some homes in the Dana Point area.  As of right now there are currently 5 homes set to be open on Saturday and 33 homes open on Sunday.  There will be even 2 homes doing an open house on Monday to grab those last minute buyers that will still be looking.  Sunday tends to be the big day for open houses so plan your day accordingly since many of these homes are only open for a short period of time.  Some

The Monarch Bay community is a great place to find furnished rentals as it's considered on of the top ocean front gated community in the Dana Point area.  The location couldn't be more ideal which is situated just south of Laguna Beach with homes that can offer sweeping ocean views with close proximity to the beach.  One of the best features of this community is the direct access to the beach.  There is plenty of parking as many either take their golf carts or drive down the parking area and then take their beach items directly on to the sand.  There is a great Beach Club located here so make sure you check that out when staying here.  Living here for a month of more is great since it offers a 24 hour guard gate which offers top level security.  Also,

One visit to the Capistrano Beach area of Dana Point and you will fall in love with the unique charm of custom homes that range from the historic 1920's homes that overlook the ocean.  When driving through the area you will notice one prominent street that is "Camino Capistrano" where some of the best bluff front properties can be found.  This area is commonly referred to as "Capistrano Bluffs" due to the name of the street and the area where it's located.  A typical starting price for a home located on the bluff is around $5 million dollars with some properties priced just below this number if it's smaller and in original condition.  When looking at homes online on this street it's important to understand that there are homes located on both sides of the

Dana Woods is a great residential neighborhood in Dana Point that is made up of very cute detached single family homes that are located in the heart of Dana Point near the cross streets of Golden Lantern and Camino Del Avion. This was a great year for the luxury real estate market in Dana Point as two of the top three highest sales this year took place in the ocean front community of Monarch Bay.  It seems like every year the highest sales tend to be in the newer Strand at Headlands community which offers some amazing homes including the third highest sale this year.  However, the Monarch Bay community has really gone through a wonderful transformation that first started when the homes switch from being located on leased land to where you own your own land.  Since then we have seen a higher interest in this community and even the front gated entrance is seeing a major face lift as well.
