Dana Point Senior Communities

There are many senior communities located throughout Orange County with a variety of amenities and services. Located in the South Orange County are several neighborhoods that are strictly for those older than 55 years of age. These communities often offer daily or weekly activities for those who live there with a central community pool and clubhouse. The city of Dana Point is rather limited when it comes to senior neighborhoods. There are several communities like Niguel Shores that is very popular with those older in age even though it is not age restricted in any way. One of the few age restricted senior communities in Dana Point is the Sea Bluffs neighborhood.
Sea Bluffs is a senior complex that offers full service assisted living for those older than 62 years of age. Unlike other senior neighborhoods where you buy a home and then decide on what functions you want to attend, Sea Bluffs offers all the bells and whistles for those who want everything taken care of for them. This includes a central community pool, spa, sauna and fitness center at the main clubhouse. Residents get to enjoy outdoor barbecue, use of the Multi-purpose, Meeting and Game Room. The fee's also include Cable TV, Electricity, Trash, Utilities, Sewer and Water. There is even concierge service available. All the dues are paid on a monthly basis and include maid service and security patrol. All of these amenities come at a cost which can vary a little. The approximate ballpark fee is around $3,500 a month and is ideal for those want all of these services.
The nice thing about the Sea Bluffs community is the central location near the Dana Point harbor with easy freeway access. Many of the units offer nice ocean views which is a huge selling feature. Some properties can be purchased as a life estate or in fee. Current real estate prices range from $221,000 to $1,250,000 with a variety of one to three bedroom units.
