Dana Woods is a great residential neighborhood in Dana Point that is made up of very cute detached single family homes that are located in the heart of Dana Point near the cross streets of Golden Lantern and Camino Del Avion. The topography of the neighborhood is typically flat so homes often don't afford much of a view at all. There are a few exceptions to this where homes will catch an ocean view which typically commands a premium in price. Real Estate prices in the last 10 years have really increased from prices in the mid $550,000 range in 2012 to now homes selling up to the $1.5 million range. Some of the ocean view properties have been located at 25112 Danalaurel, 25091 Danabirch, 25084 Danabirch, 32946, Danaspruce, 25102 Danabirch, 32931 Danaoak, 32972 Danaplam, 25162 Danabirch, 25178 Dana Birch, 24901 Danampale and 25162 Dana birch which sold on 1/11/22 for a record $1.5 million. One of the newest ocean view listings to come on the market in early March 2023 is 32922 Danapoplar. It's going to be listed at $1,798,000 and features 4 bedrooms, 3 baths with an approximate 2,547 square feet of living space. The Dana Woods community is made up of a small association so expect to pay monthly dues here. These dues will average around $180.00 a month which is a very good deal considering that similar type communities can charge two to three times this amount. The dues pay for the community pool, playground and picnic area as well as a dedicated barbecue area. The location is probably one of the biggest selling features as it's located approximately 2.1 miles to the Dana Point Harbor and just a short driving distance to the beach.
