Most Expensive Dana Point Homes Sold In 2015

The most expensive homes sold in Dana Point this year took place in the Strand at Headlands and Ritz Cove communities.  There top three sales topped last years most expensive home that sold for $9.4 million in the Ritz Cove community.  Currently there is one pending sale at 47 Strand Beach that is currently listed at $21,999,000 and is rumored to have sold close to the near and expected to close by the end of the year.  Below is the list of top sales in Dana Point for the year 2015.

31 Beach View was the most expensive home that sold this year and Dana Point which sold for $13,500,000 on 07/13/2015.  The five bedroom located in the gated Strand at Headlands community featured 6,659 square feet of living space and offered panoramic Ocean Views from both levels of the home.  The home was built in 2015 and featured top of the line finishes including Walker Zanger marble counters, Sub Zero, Wolf and Miele appliances.  Throughout the home was an east coast feel to it with lots of wainscoting and vaulted ceilings.  The Master suite was the true show stopper with a private deck that offers some of the best views in The Strand.

5 White Water View was the second highest sale which sold for $11,250,000 on 02/18/15.  This home is also located in the guard gated community of The Strand and was sold off market.  The four bedroom Contemporary home featured 5,500 square feet of living space and was newly built in 2008.  Stunning ocean views with high ceilings, private balcony, negative edge infinity pool and a three car garage were just some of the highlights of this home.

The third highest sale occurred at 71 Ritz Cove which sold for $10,399,000 on 07/10/2015. The Ritz Cove neighborhood is located next to the Ritz Carlton Hotel and is an exclusive 24 hour guard gated ocean front community similar to The Strand.  The five bedroom home featured 9,000 square feet of living space was newly built in 2002 on one of the largest lots in Ritz Cove.  The views were simply beautiful as pictured below with the Ritz Carlton Hotel in the background.  The home came with a 3 car garage with a long driveway that can accommodate up to 10 cars.
