Ritz Pointe is located on the Monarch Hills golf course in Dana Point and a prime area to find both ocean and golf course views in the low $2 million dollar range. This is one of the newer communities in the Dana Point area with homes built in the year 2000 to 2001. The community is a guard gated neighborhood with two separate gate entrances. The community shares the same gated area as the Monarch Hills condo complex, the California Cortina and Cornich Sur Mer communities. The homes in Ritz Pointe were constructed in the formal Mediterranean architectural design with slight variations to the exterior details of the homes.
The best views streets in Ritz Pointe are Via Monarca, Vista Cielo that occupy the front row and sit directly on the golf course. Select homes located n the 2nd row of Vista Sole St will still have ocean views but will be looking over the front row roof tops. Association dues for this complex still remain low compared to other neighborhoods in Dana Point and currently run $205 a month which includes the guard gated patrol. Home sales in the past 12 months have been strong ranging from $1,650,000 to $2,150,000. Currently, there are two homes for sale located on the view streets of Via Monarca and Vista Cielo that are for sale for $1,824,900 and $2,399,000 and listed below. Both of these homes feature four bedrooms with 3 baths with 3,800 and 3,977 square feet of living space. Many start their home search in the more expensive neighboring beach town of Laguna Beach and soon realize that Dana Point has more to offer in the low $2 million range.
