South Cove Community Grand Opening This Week

The first chance to see the brand new construction townhouses in the beach close community of "South Cove" will officially start this week.  Located at the corner of Coast Highway and Del Obispo street behind a small shopping center in Dana Point at 34202 Del Obispo Street in Dana Point.  Real Estate agents have the opportunity to view these homes by invitation only on Thursday December 7th from 4pm to 7pm.  On Friday, December 8th the sales office will be open to the general public to start taking reservations for the following condos being released for sale.

The Zephyr home builder has released 9 units on there websites ranging from 1,324 to 2,038 square feet.  The condos come in 3 different floorpans that are currently called "Aliso," "Trestles," and the "Strands."  Within these 3 floor plans are a total of 3 different finishes which includes "The Dune Collection," "Standard Collection" and the "White Collection."  The Dune Collection features a combination of carpet, hardwood flooring, marble master bedroom flooring, silestone master bath counters and limestone master bath shower floor.  The White Collection includes carpet, marble master bath flooring, limestone master bath counter, white cabinetry and additional accent tiles.  The South Cove website does a great job of showing the different flooring that's included in each of these finishes.  The site also has a very cool interactive map which shows the current homes that are on the market for sale.

Real Estate prices have just been released for the three different models.  The lowest priced model is the Trestles floor plans that will range from 883 to 2,126 square feet.  Buyers have the options of one to three bedrooms with one to three car garages.  Real Estate prices currently start at $602,990 and from $932,900 depending on which floor plan you choose.  The next lowest priced model is the Aliso which is currently priced from $936,990 and from $1,107,990.   Floor plans go from 1,324 to 1,943 square feet with two to three bedroom options and one to three car garages.  The most expensive and the most spectacular units is the Strands.  This covers three levels of living space with prices from $1,552,990.  These range from 2,030 to 2,038 square feet with two to three bedroom floor plans and two car side by side garage.  The biggest selling point for The Strands unit are the large picture windows, ground floor outdoor lounge area and roof top deck that can offer nice ocean views depending on which unit you buy.
