Unobstructed Ocean View Homes

Sometimes finding an ocean view home is not good enough. The city of Dana Point has many different neighborhoods that offer a wide variety of views from small peek-a-boo to panoramic ocean views. For those looking for an unobstructed ocean view homes you either have to looking for an ocean front home that can be very expensive and unaffordable to most home buyers. There are several locations in Dana Point where unobstructed ocean views can be found without breaking the bank. Here are some of the places we recommend looking.
First, the Lantern Bay Villas complex is a great place to start for finding places in the $1 to 2 million range. For the most part, there are several condos in this complex that can offer partial to panoramic ocean views. There is also a section of condos located in this community that are located on the front row and offer stunning unobstructed ocean views. There is currently one such property on the market for sale now and is listed at $2,145,000. It features three bedrooms, four baths with 3,133 square feet of living space. This also includes nice harbor views with a large greenbelt in front of the home. These types of properties don't come on the market that often so keep that in mind when looking here.
Another great location is the Dana Point Headlands area. This section of Dana Point has seen a lot of changes due to the development of the new Strands at Headlands community. The Headlands is the stretch of land that leads out to the ocean and homes located on this ridge have some of the best unobstructed ocean views in all of Dana Point. There are several condos and single family homes located in this area that offer an easy walk to the beach and the downtown Village area. Properties rarely come on the market here so many buyers elect to the nearby new construction homes being built at the Strand. Starting prices in this area are typically in the $5 million dollar range.
