The Monarch Beach area of Dana Point is one of the most expensive areas to live due to the large number of gated neighborhoods and close proximity to the St Regis and Ritz Carlton Hotel.  One of the best kept secrets for finding condos under the $500,000 price point is the Monarch Hills condo development.  Nestled inside the plush guard gated Ritz Pointe community is where you will find these condos.  These range from one to two bedrooms and can even offer views of the ocean.  There is a little path the leads down to the beach which runs through the Monarch Beach golf course.

The only disadvantage to these condos is not having a garage space.  Assigned covered parking spots do come with these units which is a benefit but many buyers have brought up
