The Sea Ridge community in Dana Point has some of the nicest ocean view condos for sale and often priced well under $700,000.  Located in a prime area in the downtown Dana Point community, Sea Ridge has a lot to offer.  The association provides residents with a first class community pool, spa, clubhouse and tennis court.  Wonderful ocean views can be seen from these facilities which makes it feel more like a resort than a residential community.  I sold one of my first condos in this Sea Ridge community and was instantly surprised at how good of a view these condos have.   The streets are tiered up to allow ocean views from each level.  The higher the streets the better the view.  The condos will range from 2 to 3 bedrooms and average around 2,000 square

The Dana Point Real Estate market is heating up like never before with a record sale of an oceanfront home located a 33 Strand Beach Drive that just sold for $22,250,000.  This is the highest priced sale recorded in the Dana Point city limits and a true indicator that the real estate market is in full swing again.  The Strand is an exciting new community in Dana Point that is located on the ocean front as pictured below.

The community comprises of two separate neighborhoods known as the South Strand (ocean front) and the North Strand (ocean view).  There has been increased activity in the last several months at The Strand with 14 ocean view lots being sold in the last 2 months.  These lots often start around $1.8 million and can go as high as $11

The Monarch Beach Golf Links course is one of the hot spots for tourists and residents alike who like to golf and enjoy the coastal weather in the Dana Point area.  The golf course itself stretches throughout many communities in the Monarch Beach area of Dana Point including the St Regis Hotel.  Luxury communities were custom built around the golf course and offer some of the most expensive real estate in the Dana Point area. I had the pleasure this weekend to show a great ocean view home in the Niguel Shores community that is currently on the market for $1,125,000.  My client was looking for an ocean view home in a secure gated community with enough of a front and backyards for her dogs.  The property was a perfect fit and was located in the Seaterrace community in Niguel Shores where you will find nice ocean view attached town homes.

The Encantmar community in Dana Point is a gated community that is located directly across the street from the Bear Brand community of Laguna Niguel.  The condos are two story town homes that can be found in the mid $500,000 to $600,000 range.  The community itself is rather small with only 153 town homes in the entire complex.  A central community pool, spa, gym and large clubhouse greets you as you enter into the community.

The nice part about these condos are the large vaulted 20 foot ceilings in the living and dining rooms.  Many of the condos have private bathrooms for each of the bedrooms which is a popular feature.  Another great feature about this complex is it's prime location.  The community sits directly on the Dana Point & Laguna Niguel

A new Town Center sign is being put up at the entrance to the Lantern Village shopping district in Dana Point, California directly behind Ralph's shopping center.  Still currently being landscaped, the sign welcomes residents and visitors to the heart of the Dana Point.  You can find many wonderfuly restaurants and small shops that are located near the Dana Point Harbor as well as large brand name grocery store and banks.  Dana Point is really making a concious effort to improve the city expeirence for those visiting the Dana Point area.  In addition to this sign you will find new landscaping being put in the median area of Pacific Coast Highway through the Monarch Beach area.

Monarch Bay Villas is a great place start your real estate search when looking for ocean view condos in the Dana Point area.  The complex is gated and entrance is located of Crown Valley Parkway close to Laguna Beach.  The complex is very small with only 52 units in the complex.  A nice community pool and clubhouse greets you as you enter the community with the tower clock giving you the current time which is located at the top of the clubhouse.
